About Bhante Siri
"Born in Sri Lanka. Called to service. Transformed by wisdom — and now building the tools the world needs."
Bhante Siri (Venerable Sirinanda Bandagiriye) has spent three decades at the intersection of ancient wisdom and modern service. As a Theravada Buddhist monk with masters-level training in mental health, he has consistently moved between worlds — the monastery and the prison yard, the meditation cushion and the lecture hall, the temple and the technology startup.
For six years, he served with Correctional Service Canada as a chaplain and reintegration coordinator, working with youth and adults in the most challenging circumstances imaginable. He founded the Atlantic Theravada Buddhist Society — a community that has quietly become a spiritual home for thousands of immigrants across Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island.
Today, as the founder of Inspire Sirius Living Inc. and creator of Saati AI, he is channeling that same deep care into the future — building technology that listens with compassion, not algorithms.
Saati — Compassionate AI
Saati is an emotionally intelligent AI companion designed to reach the people who need support before crisis hits — built from a foundation of compassion, not code.
"Technology should feel like a trusted friend who listens without judgment. That is what Saati is designed to be."
The Validate → Acknowledge → Invite protocol at the heart of Saati was developed from Bhante Siri's decades of counseling in the most challenging human environments. Launching on World Mental Health Day, October 10, 2026.
